Deskohraní is a non-profit board games festival organized by volunteers and financed by town, sponsors, and gate money. Volunteers are mostly remunerated with board games from our sponsors.You can help us in a difficult situation by donating any amount of money so Deskohraní can happen in a form that you know and like. You can send money to our new transparent account. If you donate 1200 or more CZK (purchase price of 1 table), the table will be “yours” – if you want to have your name on the table, put it in the note to your transaction and we’ll gladly dedicate it to you.

As you perhaps already know, we had to move Deskohraní to another building – the beautiful Klementinum. We can’t wait to be there already but unfortunately, there are no tables. In those hard years after Covid when there was significant inflation, we have no backup money, so the must to buy all tables (approximately 250) comes at an unfortunate time.
Therefore, we decided to create a public collection and we ask for your financial support. From these donations, we’ll be buying all the materials necessary for building tables.
We are building those tables ourselves because it’s cheaper than buying them. Each table will be made from a polished and painted OSB desk and table legs from IKEA. The purchase price of material for one table is 1200 CZK.
You can send any amount of money to this transparent account. If you donate at least 1200 CZK, we’ll place a metal plate with your name on one table – name/names, which you want to have written on one of our tables, mention in a note with your transaction. You can certainly donate a bigger amount and we’ll use it for more material. We assure you that no money from this collection will be used on anything else than the making of tables.
We don't assume that we get more money than we’ll use for the material but if so, the budget will be used in the next years to maintain the tables.
